Charakteristics:
Due to the use of different types of glass and different methods of forming and surface treatment, individual types of balls are characterized by diverse physical, chemical, mechanical and optical properties.
Glass beads and balls used for technical purposes are made of glass with very high strength parameters. This allows them to be used for grinding materials in pearl mills, for polishing metal and wood surfaces in drum and vibratory polishing machines and for use as a mixing element in aerosols.
The surface of our glass balls for polishing metals and wood is very carefully polished. We also supply balls with a polished surface as a mixing element for aerosols, to protect the inside of the container from scratches and corrosion.
Application of glass beads for grinding:
- grinding of paints and varnishes in open vertical mills
- grinding and dispersing substances of low viscosity, density and hardness (paints, varnishes, dyes, agrochemicals) in horizontal pearl mills
- grinding and dispersing in stirred bead mills (attritors)
Other industrial applications of glass beads and balls:
- polishing surfaces of wooden and metal elements in drum polishers and vibratory polishers
- as aerosol mixing balls
- water and sewage filtration
- dental and cosmetic sterilizers
- as a filler for weighted blankets and toys

Glass beads for decoration:

- decorating the surface of Christmas tree balls, Christmas decorations and other products
- filling various decorative containers (e.g. cosmetic brush organizers, flower vases)
- the balls are also suitable for coloring
